Artisan Academy

Established by R2R, the Artisan Academy is a mobile training and capacity building program that enables communities of different livelihoods to undergo values formation and learn financial literacy, business skills, product development and innovation, marketing, and other life and livelihood modules.

Our Approach

WE START FROM WHERE THE COMMUNITIES / PARTNERS ARE

We start by understanding the communities and partners we train and craft modules and training tools that are appropriate, effective, creative, and relevant.

WE KEEP THINGS SIMPLE

We don’t like big words that may sound impressive but only succeed in being oppressive. We believe that when we communicate, our goal is to understand and be understood, not to look smart.

WE ASK, TALK, TEACH, SHOW, AND COLLABORATE

Our modules are created with intention and consideration to the context, community, and culture of our trainees.
